Emmanuel is an educator, advisor and public espeaker. He is currently working in the Middle East as an Inclusion Specialist Teacher and consultant. Emmanuel trained as a primary school teacher before he qualified as a SENCO. He is also a former Assistant Head Teacher and school Governor. Emmanuel often draws on his own own journey as a child excluded from school who speaks and writes about developing inclusive practices in schools.

Emmanuel has worked in mainstream schools, special schools, the charity sector and as an International educator. His education philosophy is underpinned by several principles;

Emmanuel has supported organisations in both the public and private sector in improving the outcomes for vulnerable young people. He has written extensively about inclusive practice and has been featured in publishings such as Nape, The Guardian, HeadTeacher Update and The Lead. He is also a contributor in Boys Do Cry by Matt Pinkett and Black in Education by Kemi Oluyinka.

Emmanuel consulted for UK national organisations including the Home Office, Department For Education and The Chattered College of Teaching. Emmanuel is the director of the The Reach out Project and has been an active member in the Get Into Teaching and Knife Free campaigns.
In 2021 he was a finalist in the MBCC awards where he was nominated for role model of the year.
